	Trip Details 8 Mile Whitewater Adventure – 8 Man Raft (Min Age: 6) Departure time: Every hour starting at 9:00am. Last departure is 4:00pm Please check in 30 minutes prior to your trip departure at the Sands SOUTH office located at 1450 South Highway 89. Approximate return time: 3.5 hours post departure If you like wet heart-pounding excitement then this trip is the perfect whitewater adventure! You help paddle an eight-person raft on a wild water ride down the Snake River over famous rapids such as the S-Turns, Kahuna, Lunch Counter, Ropes Champagne and Cottonwood. Kids are welcome on our 8 man rafts, however we prefer that everyone paddle on these rafts. If you know that your youngster does not want to paddle, you may want to consider our standard, 14 man rafts What’s Included: Transportation to and from the river 8 mile upper canyon scenic float Safety and paddling instruction Splash gear What to bring: Bathing suit or light clothing that you don’t mind getting wet, try to avoid cotton Appropriate footwear that you don’t mind getting wet. Sneakers, or sandals that will stay on your feet. Please no flip-flops! Sunglasses & sunscreen Notes: 8 miles, 1.5-2 hours on the water, depending on water levels Minimum age 6 years Wetsuits are available for rent at our office
