They have floated the Snake River hundreds of times, giving them a deep knowledge of every turn, rapid, and current, which means they know where it’s safe to go, and where not to go. Of course, our boatmen aren’t the only ones with Snake River white water experience. Our entire staff is prepared to make sure your Snake River trip is safe and exciting.
Add to that: We’re celebrating our fifth decade, which means Sands White Water is one of the most seasoned rafting companies here in Jackson Hole. Sands is the only Snake River rafting company still actively owned and operated by one of the original Sultan’s of the Snake, the pioneers of Snake River white water rafting. And at the same time, we feel like a brand new outfit with our expanded line of rafts, our renovated facilities and changing rooms and our upgraded life jackets, wetsuits, river booties and ponchos.
