So what sets Sands apart?

Consider this: We're Celebrating our fifth decade, which means Sands is one of the most seasoned rafting companies here in Jackson Hole. Sands is the only Snake River rafting company still actively owned and operated by one of the original Sultan's of the Snake, the pioneers of Snake River white water rafting. And at the same time, we feel like a brand new outfit with our expanded line of rafts, our renovated facilities and changing rooms and our upgraded life jackets, wetsuits, river booties and ponchos.

As one of the largest rafting companies in Jackson, we've taken tens of thousands of people safely down the Snake River, including the President of the United States. And, by making sure you enjoy every moment, we've become one of the most respected rafting companies in the valley. We want your entire experience with us to be positive and memorable, from the first time you call our front desk to the moment you say thanks to your shuttle driver.

Add to that: Our years of experience begin with our hard-working boatmen. They have floated the Snake hundreds of times, giving them a deep knowledge of every turn, rapid, and current, which means they know where it's safe to go, and where not to go. Of course, our boatmen aren't the only ones with experience. Our entire staff is prepared to make sure your visit is safe and exciting.
